Altavista Power develops islanded-mode natural gas power plants, delivering reliable, scalable, and rapidly deployable energy solutions for AI data centers and energy-intensive industries. Our onsite generation removes grid instability risks and connection limitations, streamline deployment, and secures long-term energy supply through Power Purchase Agreements PPAs—all at no investment cost to the customer. Our mission is to power the digital economy with resilient, efficient, and future-ready energy infrastructure.
Altavista Power is developing a portfolio of high-efficiency, natural gas-fired power plants to meet the growing energy demands of AI data centers in Ontario. Our phased approach includes the deployment through power blocks:
P.5 (50 MW) – Gas-fired reciprocating gensets
P1 (100 MW) – Gas-fired reciprocating gensets / Simple Cycle Gas Turbine (SCGT)
P2 (200 MW) – Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT)
Wherever practicable, these power blocks will be strategically supplemented with clean energy sources, including solar, wind, battery storage, clean natural gas, and hydrogen (H₂), to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency.
Contract Structures
Altavista Power offers flexible contract models to align with customer needs:
• Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) – Fixed-price contracts ensuring cost stability and predictability.
• Capacity Agreements – Dedicated energy supply for uninterrupted AI and cloud computing operations.
• Tolling Arrangements – Customers supply fuel, and we convert it into electricity at competitive rates.
